Adult Aerial Yoga

Service Description

These classes are for adults, although we do accept those from 16 years and up. Aerial yoga is great for building strength, confidence, flexibility and is loads of fun! No aerial or yoga experience is needed, you will be guided through a range of gentle strength and stretch movements aided by our silk slings, followed by some relaxation time cocooned in the sling at the end of the class. This is great class for those looking to get into aerial and wanting to build strength for this, or those wanting to upskill their current yoga practice or just anyone who wants to find a new way of moving their body in a supportive environment. All classes will run at 7pm on a Wednesday, classes will be led by Joe (aka Penny Farthing) an aerial and hula hoop performer and teacher, with first aid and around 9 years experience in aerial practice. You should come to classes wearing suitable clothes for exercising in and nothing too baggy that can get caught in apparatus, as well as nothing with zips, velcro or anything that can damage the silks. It is advisable to also have your back/belly covered and armpits. Jewellery of all kinds, including wedding/engagements should be avoided (small earrings are fine) and you should bring a drink of water with you. These classes are usually booked in Monthly blocks but this is a trial class, so is a one off session. Classes are small (4-5 people) to allow each participant to have their own sling to work in.
